This will either blow your mind or open your eyes
AN ENGINEERING MASTER PIECE
During the construction phase……
Dubai, United Arab Emirates

All finished. Notice the size of the palm trees outside………. Can you guess what it is ???
Remember, this is in the middle of the desert….
The very HOT desert where temperatures get up to 140 degrees…..
Unbelievable!
But true…..
It is a self contained Ski Resort…………………..The INSIDE view:

Why is gasoline $3.15 a gallon for regular unleaded??????
So they can ski in the desert, that’s why!
Are we stupid or what!

you do realise that dubai has pretty much run out of oil dont you? and that tourism is now their principle source of revenue which is why they build giant indoor ski slopes, horsetracks, and malls everywhere?

It’s not about them. It’s about us. WE have to re-prioritize our values, our goals and our lifestyles. They’re just the benefactors of our poor choices.

They have kept their prices about the same. This picture is actually 4-5 years old. It’s the big oil companies, like Exxon (that are making record profits that) that are the ones driving up gas prices.

The fact is that gasoline is both too cheap and too expensive at the same time. Its too cheap because the taxes we pay for it don’t reflect the cost of defending the companies that bring it too us, not to mention the value of the lives of our soldiers who have to die so that we can drive a three ton suv five miles to buy a loaf of bread. Its too expensive because the money we pay goes to oil companies on behalf of our arab and russian enemies instead to improve our own lives.
